The FSU National Alumni Association was organized in 1922 to provide opportunities for alumni to participate in and contribute to the ongoing life of Fayetteville State University. The Association has flourished under the leadership of 20 presidents. Its strength has been in its fundraising and student recruitment efforts. The most ambitious fundraising initiative, since its inception was a pledge of $400,000 to the Chancellor's Scholarship Fund, which was successfully completed.
