The Waymon W. Williams Distinguished Award is the highest honor bestowed by the National Association upon an alumnus or alumnae and is named in memory of the first President of the National Alumni Association. It is awarded every four (4) years to a person who has rendered service to and been a continuous member of the National Alumni Association for a minimum of 20 years.
